Some thoughts about Wire Anchors:

• Wire Anchors are usually used with Cast or Gunned Refractory linings

• Certain styles of wire anchors are used to help maintain uniform thickness when constructing dual component linings.

• Use of "Leg Extensions" and "un-even length legs" can help manage spalling of lining

• In applications where thermal cycling is an issue, use of pre-coated anchors is a plus.
